What’s the Background to Lexicogs?

We set up Lexicogs because we wanted to provide a more flexible approach to learning that gives greater power to the learner to decide and set their goals, and allows them to follow bite-sized and easily accessible lessons.

We also wanted to design courses that were better suited to business and professional life with an emphasis on learning skills and information that will apply to specific scenarios, such as moving abroad, finding a job, or honing in on those communication skills that we all take for granted but are never taught.

Lexicogs offers free online, digital courses for all self-learners at any level who are looking to improve their foreign languages or writing skills, as well as courses aimed at business professionals who are looking to refine their skills in specific business areas.

We also provide paid-for courses, membership-only content and content for enterprise customers wishing to offer business communications training to employees.

Underpinning all that we do is a continual focus on developing content that supports the development of culturally aware and contextually relevant communications skills.
